Early Childhood Education

Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) Training  This year the Ohio Department of Education is offering the KRA-R teacher training 100% online. Registration is available in STARS*. Trainings are available now and will continue through September and October, if needed. This training is required for teachers who will be administering the KRA-R during the 2020-2021 school year who have not previously completed a KRA training.

Early Learning Assessment (ELA) Training This year the Ohio Department of Education is offering the ELA teacher training 100% online.  Registration is available in the Ohio Professional Registry (OPR) at www.registry.occrra.orgThis training is required for new users of the Early Learning Assessment who have not previously completed an ELA training.

Early Childhood Director and Itinerant Teacher Networks are also offered.

  • Follow the remaining prompts and you will receive an email confirmation to the email address listed in your SAFE Account Profile stating you are registered.
